Avatar's QuickPlan Pro automates catalog production. Using the paste up metaphor, the elegant visually rich interface allows merchandisers to pick up an offering, a page or an entire catalog from a previous catalog. With fluid drag-and-drop motions merchandisers can add new products, change positions, move offerings from page to page, even add notes. All the power in QuickPlan is under the hood, so merchandisers can be productive using it starting on day one.
Once merchandisers are finished the information is transferred to designers or production artists who, with a few clicks, are able to automatically produce rough-built pages in InDesign or QuarkXPress in seconds.
